This is the ContourRoam. Currently the highest spec helmet camera system available from Contour.
The ContourRoam borrows design and features from the rest of the Contour range, but with differences that set it apart from any other helmet camera system such as a built in tripod, built in batter and this particular camera is waterproof up to one meter - ideal for watersports!
It benefits from a super wide-angle lense - up to 170 degrees which is the widest available today - it also supports up to 1080p for ultra high quality footage!
The ContourRoam also benefits from a longer battery life of up to 3 hours which is the best battery life from any Contour Camera, and in fact most action cameras on the market today.
Because the form factor of the new ContourRoam has not changed, it still works with all the accessories, spare batteries and camera mounts as per the other Contour Cameras.
At full quality this camera uses 1gb of memory for just 15 minutes of video at 1080p. A 2gb card holds just 30 minutes of video. We recommend using either an 8gb or 16gb MicroSD HC class 4 card for longer record times.
