A market-leading mix of camera technology from the six element glass lens and 1080p video resolution to on-the-fly adjustable white balance for dialing in the details for any location. The Contour+  helmet camera also expands normal perspective with an F 2.8, 170° WIDE angled lens, integrating peripherals and backdrops that would otherwise get cropped with a narrower focus. In addition, Contour have incorporated a 270° rotating lens to allow you mount or position the camera in an infinite number of ways.

Live Action

The action moves in real-time, so why would you want a delay in the coverage? The Contour+ enables live streaming - using the HDMI output port, creating a direct connection to film shoots contest runs. Whether for broadcast purposes or simply building a following, this capability allows videographers and athletes to provide an inside window into the action. The Contour + can now shoot at 25 or 50fps making it ideal for PAL based broadcast activities.

Fully Connected

With all modern devices, connection is key. We've made the Contour PLUS  the most connected POV helmet camera ever! Firstly is the Bluetooth, which provides filmmakers a wireless viewfinder using your mobile phone/device to check the angle before shooting. The camera also connects via an HDMI port at the rear , allowing live 1080p streaming of HD video through your TV or monitor - to quickly and easily watch and preview your videos. This eliminates the time of downloads and transfers when checking footage on location or back at base.

Crisp Audio

 

Video is only one small part of your story, which is why we have equipped the new Contour+ with an external 2.5mm micjack. This audio capability allows you to improve and open up your sound options from interviews to getting audio in difficult or once unattainable places. Use it with a high quality external microphone or headset to really get high quality digital audio.

GPS

Location is the central element of any good story and the Contour GPS receiver in our helmet camera tracks your exact location, speed and altitude whilst shooting in hands-free 1080p HD. The slick feature links personal footage to a specific place and adds interactive depth to your video.

Storage

Running a little short on space is a huge problem which is why the Contour+ camera stores all your footage on a removable microSD memory card. Compatible with cards up to 32gb, the setup allows for an easy swap to a blank card when you’ve filled the first one up to capacity.

Build Strength

With a tough, water-resistant aluminum shell, the Contour+ is made to take a beating in rough, extreme environments from hellish storms to muddy tracks. For full submersion,  add the waterproof case to keep it dry up to 60 meters deep!
