Using the new Contour GPS really could not be easier. Simply slot in the rechargeable battery and insert your memory card, slide the switch on top forwards to start recording.

 

NOW! You can take still photos with the Contour GPS at a huge 2592 x 1944 resolution you could argue not needing to take a stills camera with you.

 

You still get the same great mounts as before plus an extra disk mount. The battery will give at least 2.5 hours record time before it needs to be recharged.

 

Contour GPS is as light as ever at just 5.2 ounces you will hardly know it is on your head. Still equipped with twin lasers for aiming and positioning your camera.

The ContourGPS wearable Video Camera is another first from Contour, including a state of the art GPS antenna and High Definition video recording within a neat, lightweight housing. The Contour HD mode is perfect for when you're running low on storage space… capturing footage in 720p at 30fps, you still get HD quality video, but files size is reduced. In addition to HD video, the ContourGPS also shoots quality stills at intervals of 3, 5, 10, 30 or 60 seconds. So tell your story with photos and mix up your montages with a series of still photos.

With an expertly designed sound system that records via an omni-directional microphone, the Contour GPS lets you capture the sound you want while excess wind noise is reduced to a minimum. Now you can enhance the video quality with professional audio, instead of drowning it out with distorted noise. Equipped with an internal SD memory card reader with a capacity of 32GB that gives you 8+ hours of quality footage without having to swap out the MicroSD cards.

Bluetooth Capability

Contour GPS is the first hands-free, wearable video camera to capture video and location along with an optional Bluetooth card that works with the new Contour app for smart phones. Three HD Recording Modes for all your requirements

• Full HD 1080p: Recording in 1920x1080 captures footage at 30 frames per second, providing crisp, sharp true HD video at the highest possible resolution.
• Tall HD 960p: Recording in 1280x960 captures footage at 30 frames per second - perfect for actions sports that are better suited to a taller image, such as surfing or paddle boarding.
• Action HD 720p: Recording in 1280x720 captures footage at 60 frames per second. Perfect for instances where frame rate importance is greater than resolution, this setting provides buttery smooth slow motion playback, capturing high action while reducing blur.
• Contour 720p: Recording in 1280x720 captures footage at 30 frames per second. This is the setting you want when space on your memory card is getting tight, but you've just got to capture that last epic ride.

In addition to these HD modes, the also has the ability of capturing photo stills at intervals of 3, 5, 10, 30 or 60 seconds. 

Expert Audio.

The Contour GPS's audio system was designed by an actual real rocket scientist!  Equipped with an omnidirectional microphone,  true sound is recorded, and wind noise is reduced to a minimum. Constructed with a front facing microphone using AAC Audio Compression. This is a frontier in the development of POV camera audio and you can only get it from Contour cameras.

Out of Memory? Nope!

The compact and minimal design of the ContourGPS includes a locking back door that keeps the internal micro SD card safe from the elements. With the ability to upgrade the memory to 32GB, you're set up to capture over 8 hours of HD video on a single card.

Simple Software for Easy Editing

Contour has developed a user friendly Story teller application for both PC and MAC computers making the download process from camera to computer a breeze. With editing features as simple as hitting the 'Awesome' button to highlight the best parts of your video, your next step is to add titles, descriptions and tags, while the ability to watch your footage on the interactive map gives you control the action as it happens.
