If you're retracing laps at the ski hill, checking your speed on a down hill run or logging the gain on a road ride, the GPS tracking capability of the Contour GPS adds speed, location and elevation to your video. ContourGPS is set up with a full GPS receiver antenna that maps the three essentials - location, speed and elevation - it updates up to four times per second to create a continuous track of coordinates as you move. The GPS track synchronizes with your footage to provide a second-by-second replay laid over Google Maps of your run.

Once you have purchased the Bluetooth Connect, you add a whole new world of COOL to your camera. We've made it possible to check your filming angle on a smartphone screen before you start filming. The Contour App creates a wireless handheld viewfinder that enables you to align your shot and make sure you have the perfect angle and eliminate all the guesswork. Made for both iOS and Android, the ContourGPS connection also allows users to tweak settings via phone on the hill or at home before you leave.

Stunning 1080p High Definition helmet camera footage or ultra smooth capture of fast action at up to 60fps - with the ContourGPS it's not one thing or the other but both at the same time. This location based camera uses an advanced micro processor to film crisp and smooth video at either 720p 60 frames per second or 1080p 30 frames per second. It also lines up the perfect first-person shot with its 135 degree wide-angled lens assembly and quickly adjusts to changing light conditions when out and about. All you'll need to be concerned aabout is your own style and form once you're filming.

Super Tough

Some of the places we play in are rough and dirty, which is why all Contour GPS cameras are made to withstand everything from caked and baked mud, kicked-up sand to raging rain storms. The strong aluminum body withstands shakes, rattles and rolls and a water resistant design sheds all types of precip, moisture and spray. For full submersion activities such as surf or wake, the Contour GPS waterproof case provides total dryness up to 60m deep.
