To charge the batteries for the Contour cameras you normally plug the camera in to your computer using the supplied USB Cable.
Using this mains adapter you can charge the batteries in your camera from any 240/110v power socket.
This is the UK 3 pin version of the charger. It will work if you take it on holiday as long as you take a standard travel adapter with you.
Simply plug in to a mains outlet socket, the other end has a 5v regulated USB plug on it that plugs in to the back of the camera.
